Does the entire system have to be wireless?

No. Wireless sensors can be added to existing hardwired Rees Scientific systems. For some applications, hardwiring a sensor may make more sense. Our solution allows you to have the best of both worlds.

Enjoy all of the same advanced network features, superior alarm dial out capabilities and secure data that you have come to know and trust from Rees Scientific!

Wireless Options

  • Users with hardwire systems can expand with wireless.

  • New users can go totally wireless.

  • Uses same software and Nodes

More Advantages

  • Fully Validated.

  • Great for temporary or rented facilities where running data lines is not permitted.

  • Clean installations.

  • Great for animal and clean rooms where conduit is required.

  • Ideal for facilities that routinely move or relocate equipment.

All communications are Spread Spectrum for vastly enhanced communication reliability over older single channel 418 MHz transmission.

The transmitters accept any type of Rees Scientific or industry standard input and provide 12 bit analog to digital conversion accuracy.

There are 1 input, 2 input and 4 input transmitters available.  Multi-input modules reduce the cost per input.

All sensor batteries are monitored, low batteries cause low battery alarms which can dial out.

All sensors buffer 7 days of readings history recorded at 5 minute intervals.

Most sensors in a typical install will be battery powered with a one year battery.

All communications are monitored, error-checked, and corrected. Communication failure alarm can dial out.  When communications are re-established, the 7 days of buffered data are automatically uploaded and put into the database.
