Why did you join the Rees Team?
I joined Rees as a technician. The combination of skills that I would utilize as a technician was appealing to me. I enjoy interacting with various people and being able to apply my ingenuity, resourcefulness, and professional personability to various projects.
Describe your work experience prior to your employment at Rees.
My past training includes electronics, programming, and computer skills training. These areas of training gave me previous exposure to some of the language and concepts that I encounter daily. Additionally, my experience includes technical call center experience in which I had to troubleshoot networking, routers, and computer configuration. This gave me insight into the work that we do as field technicians at Rees. It also prepared me to work on the after-hours call team.
I also had experience as a field technician in which I installed and repaired electronic equipment. This prepared me for working onsite with customers. I also have public speaking experience as a Gospel preacher and teacher in the church that I attend. This helped me to prepare training documents and to train the customers as well as my technicians.
How has your role evolved since you joined Rees?
While at Rees, my role has evolved from being a field technician to taking tech support calls from customers to leading a team of technicians and working with customers.
Tell us about a favorite memory from working at Rees.
Since Rees has international clients, we also have the opportunity to visit foreign lands from time to time. My favorite memory while working with Rees occurred a few weeks ago when I went to assist with a project in Spain. I completed the project successfully. The weekend was spent exploring some of Spain and taking a weekend day trip to Morocco, Africa.
What are some of the Rees products or services that have received positive feedback from the customers you interact with?
Customers have mentioned that our level of service is great because our technicians respond quickly to their needs.
How do you envision the future of Rees in terms of growth, innovation and impact?
I believe in the service that Rees supplies to the world and I envision that it will grow and have a positive global impact of accountability and excellence.
