Position: Sales Representative – Southern California/Los Angeles

Fun Fact: I love rock climbing outdoors. Taking calculated risk, while putting your trust in your partner is exhilarating. It’s all about pushing yourself to your perceived limit to get the next clip of safety.

Something I’ve always wanted to learn: I’ve always wanted to learn to ride a motorcycle. There's just something thrilling about the speed, the wind in your face, and leaving everyone else in your dust as you slice through traffic. Living in LA, the idea of dodging the endless gridlock is a dream. But as much as I’d love the rush, I know my wife would probably end me unless the cars around got me first!

Why did you join the Rees Team?
I joined Rees because I saw a great opportunity for career growth and saw many long tenured individuals. 

Describe your work experience prior to your employment at Rees.
Previously I did five years in dental sales which have been invaluable in my current role at Rees. Working conventions nationwide and making office visits gave me comfort with travel and interacting with diverse groups. Being in new environments and building connections with complete strangers strengthened my networking skills, which has allowed me to excel in relationship-building and adaptability which are both crucial in what I do now.

How has your role evolved since you joined Rees?
My role has evolved to include a more hands on approach to ensure my customer is happy with the Rees service being provided.

Tell us about a favorite memory from working at Rees.
My favorite memory is from when I was first interviewed for my role. I had been preparing for the interview and was confident but when I saw who was going to be conducting the interview I knew it was a sign and that I had it in the bag. Upon greeting my interviewers, I gleefully shook the three other Michael's hands while saying the word, "Michael" 6 times in a matter of moments. "Good afternoon Michael, my name is Michael. Michael it is great to meet you, call me Michael, and Michael... Michael."

What are some of the Rees products or services that have received positive feedback from the customers you interact with? 
While not exactly a product or service, many of the local techs have been repeatedly praised by customers. They are the backbone of Rees’ success and interact with customers more than anyone else. I have been told that they are patient, helpful and willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. 

How do you envision the future of Rees in terms of growth, innovation and impact?
I see Rees slowly moving to eliminate the inefficiencies that still persist and once completed, being able to accelerate its growth and continued dominance in the environmental monitoring market.
