Position: Assembly Technician 1V
Years with Rees: 14 Years
Fun Fact: I collect baseball and football cards as well as any other sports memorabilia items. I have been collecting as far back as I can remember. I have light box cases in my basement that are filled.
Something I’ve always wanted to learn: I have always been interested in learning to speak Italian since my great grandparents are from Italy. One day I will get around to it.
Why did you join the Rees Team?
I was out of work for several months. My resume was posted to Indeed.com which is how I found out about the technician position at Rees. I researched Rees before my interview and was excited about what Rees had to offer. When I started at Rees, I was splitting my time in Production and the Water Department. It made my day very interesting and never boring.
Describe any work experience or training you had prior to your employment at Rees.
My background ranges from working on satellites, fiber optics, the light railroad system to windmills. These experiences shaped my ability to adapt to any technology and jump right into what I needed to learn for my role at Rees.
How has your role evolved since you joined Rees?
My role from a Technician Assembler has evolved into my new role as QC Inspector, where I get to check all of our equipment before it ships out to our customers.
Tell us about a favorite memory from working at Rees.
I have to say my favorite memories are all the different holiday parties Rees has held over the years.
What are some of the Rees products or services that have received positive feedback from the customers you interact with?
I built the panel for Bracco Research and it just so happens that my wife works for Bracco Diagnostics. I received positive feedback regarding the panel as well as updates since our good friend works in the Operations Department.
How do you envision the future of Rees in terms of growth, innovation and impact?
In terms of future evolution, I see Rees achieving success through expanding our internal capabilities, investing in continuous team upskilling, embracing a culture of experimentation where fresh ideas actively improve daily operations, delivering higher quality results for our clients and creating a more collaborative workplace.
