Position: Product Support Manager
Years with Rees: 18 Years
Fun Fact: I love photography. I have a collection of both vintage and modern cameras, spanning nearly a century. Spending as much time as I did in the field, I always had a camera with me. It gave me a reason to not just go sit in my hotel at night.
Something I’ve always wanted to learn: I enjoy creating things and working with my hands. I would love to learn woodworking and be able to create functional pieces from raw materials. Think Nick Offerman energy, minus the epic moustache.
Why did you join the Rees Team?
I had a background working in both electronics and computers and I love troubleshooting and problem solving. This job was the perfect fit!
Describe any work experience or training you had prior to your employment at Rees.
I was owner/operator of a small-town computer repair store. We did everything from virus removal to custom built PC's, and electronics repair. We also did on-site networking and home theater installations.
How has your role evolved since you joined Rees?
I started as a field tech, then to field engineer before being promoted to RSM in 2012. I worked as the Midwest RSM until 2023 when I became the manager of the Product Support Team.
Tell us about a favorite memory from working at Rees.
There are so many, but my favorite has to be an installation I did in India. The owner of the company was incredibly gracious, ensuring that I made the most of my time there. He hired a guide to take me on a day trip around the outskirts of Ahmedabad to experience the rich and vibrant history of the area.
What are some of the Rees products or services that have received positive feedback from the customers you interact with?
In 18 years, I've seen quite a few different variations of hardware, but one thing that has not changed is our commitment to providing high quality on-site service. Time and again I hear compliments about our field service team and how they went the extra mile to get the job done. It's clear to our clients that our service team is passionate about their work.
How do you envision the future of Rees in terms of growth, innovation and impact?
We are on an incredible journey right now, with so many technical innovations in both our products and services. We have an amazing team driving us toward a bright future!
